Solving Real-World Problems with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

Our kids learn to solve problems, not just equations. We ensure our kids deeply understand math, challenging them to develop their own problem-solving strategies so that they become increasingly flexible thinkers. Our students also get hands-on science every day with a dedicated science teacher. We encourage kids to be “scientists” by recording their observations, participating in discussions, and writing their conclusions.

Developing Great Readers, Writers, and Thinkers

A child that loves reading can teach themselves anything. That is why we introduce kids to great books (20,000 per classroom!) and emphasize critical thinking, writing, and the thoughtful discussion of ideas. Kids read and analyze poetry, biography, history, fiction, myths, and fables. In addition, our scholars write every day and regularly receive feedback, revise, and publish their work.

A Whole-Child Approach

Our curriculum focuses on engagement and active participation. We believe it’s our job to make school interesting and fun, and our teachers challenge students to think critically and creatively every day. This includes introducing scholars to visual arts, music, dance, theater and sports - all as ways to express themselves, develop new talents and explore their creativity.

The K-12 program at Success Academy is fully integrated, meaning your child will have a seat through high school graduation — no need to reapply! This allows us to fully prepare them for college and beyond.
